Break up rumors between Mik Thongraya and Bow Maylada were rampant the past few days. Bow Maylada uploaded a post on August 17 saying, “Being single is smarter than being in the wrong relationship.”, which led netizens to think they had split up. Netizens also discovered they had unfollowed each other on Instagram, spurring on the break up rumors.

Mik Thongraya confirmed the break up rumors on August 18 with this post. He expressed that Bow Maylada and him are indeed the way the news reported about them deciding to end their relationship. However, he says there were no third parties involved in their break up. They broke up purely because they had differing views and beliefs.

Thai media also contacted Bow Maylada on the break up rumors. She responded back via text: “It’s just like what everyone saw from the post.”

After the break up, Bow Maylada and Mik Thongraya re-followed each other on Instagram. Back in February 2020, Mik Thongraya revealed to the media that Bow Maylada and him were “more than just friends, but not quite in a relationship yet” even though they had already spent Valentine’s Day together.
