Harper’s BAZAAR held its annual Charity Night on November 13 and it was one for the record books. It was attended by many top celebrities such as Yang Mi, William Chan, Victoria Song, Yang Yang, Zhu Yilong, Deng Lun, Li Xian, Jing Boran, Jing Tian, Vin Zhang Binbin, Elaine Chong Chuxi, Charlene Choi, Gillian Chung, and more.
However, the highlight of the night was the standing positions of the celebrities for the grand finale photo op. William Chan was seen standing in in the middle with Yang Mi next to him. At the same time, the host, Li Xian, and Zhu Yilong, were politely insisting for Angelababy to stand in the middle. This would’ve been super awkward if Angelababy was standing close to William Chan as they dated back in 2005-2009.
However, Angelababy wasn’t the only ex-girlfriend there. William Chan’s other ex-girlfriend, Charlene Choi aka Ah Sa from the Hong Kong duo, Twins, was also present at the function. William Chan and Charlene Choi, who are both from the same management company, EEG, dated from 2010-2015.
Other awkward situations averted were Li Xian and Elaine Zhong Zhuxi, who were once rumored to be dating. They were standing on opposite ends. The reunion of Yang Yang and Victoria Song, who were also involved in dating rumors back in 2015, was avoided. Victoria Song was missing from the grand finale photo op, but BAZAAR made sure to photoshop her all the way at the end into the picture.
Meanwhile, the leads of Chinese drama, “Rattan”, Vin Zhang Binbin and Jing Tian, were enjoying themselves and continuing with their on-screen CP PDA even though their drama finished airing months ago.
