On September 26, TVB actress, Alice Chan Wai (陳煒), finally tied the knot to her doctor boyfriend, Aldous Chan (陳國強), in an intimate wedding at the Garden Suite of The Peninsula Hong Kong hotel. After Aldous Chan proposed to Alice Chan last November, they were originally scheduled to get married in April of this year. However, Alice Chan’s father unfortunately passed away around the same time, which ultimately led to the wedding getting postponed.
The couple wanted to keep the wedding ceremony simple and low-key, so they only invited 50 nearest and dearest of family and friends. The wedding banquet was buffet style. They didn’t arrange for the traditional “pick up the bride” event either.
While the ceremony was kept simple, Alice Chan was happily glowing in three wedding gowns and was adorned in the ceremonial gold jewelry. Due to their busy schedules, Alice Chan and Aldous Chan already had a dinner with their family the previous night. Alice Chan still has to the next day and can only go on a honeymoon at the end of the year.
