TVB heartthrob, Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) announced he was getting married with fellow TVB artist, Phoebe Sin (單文柔) on the 10th of this month.  The wedding announcement was quite sudden since they have only admitted to dating each other for a year and a half.  Their story and wedding has been plastered on various headlines for the past week.

Since the wedding announcement, Ruco and Phoebe have been very open sharing their story and proposal with the public.  The two were initially very private and hesitated to talk about their relationship.  Phoebe revealed, “Our wedding is happening quicker than I expected.  I am also worried about being rushed to have children after getting married.”  Luckily, Ruco has said to the public he will follow his future wife’s wishes and let them have their alone time first.

Phoebe also reveals Ruco proposed with a heart shaped paper ring and she has yet to receive a diamond wedding ring and that Ruco has told her to wait.  Phoebe says, “I don’t know if he’ll propose a third time.  If he does, I hope it’s just the two of us and not have too much people around us like in London.”

Ruco reveals there were a lot of prep work before executing his secret proposal mission.  He says, “I spent a lot of energy to convince Phoebe to try on wedding gowns.  The day I went to pick up the wedding gowns, the elevator was not working.  I had to walk up and down 20 plus flights of stairs round trip.  I was so sweaty afterwards.  When we headed out to London the next day, both my legs were in so much pain I couldn’t even walk to the elevator.  As long as she is happy and satisfied, I am happy too.”
