Former Miss Hong Kong Crystal Fung Says “Girls Marrying into Wealth are Public Restrooms”
Yutori Kudo, who got into hot water a few weeks ago with Jacqueline Wong, has come out to support Crystal Fung for being real. In her lengthy Instagram post she posted in the middle of the night, she says there was nothing wrong with Crystal’s comments and that she was just telling the truth.

Yutori says, “Crystal was only talking about certain people who judge Miss Hong Kongs marrying into rich families as being “gold diggers,” “prostitutes,” and “public restrooms.” She was just stating the facts, not saying this was her opinion. Maybe the choice of words for a Miss Hong Kong was a bit daring, but it doesn’t have anything to do with being “cheap.” The word “cheap” shouldn’t be used whenever you feel like it, but yet you’ve used it against someone else.”

Yutori also adds, “When I went on “Young and Restless”, I thought Crystal was cute. Maybe her choice of words is too daring and too direct. It’ll be unacceptable for a lot of people dreaming to marry into wealth. Good thing I broke up with my boyfriend before joining the pageant. Or else some people will be saying I am a “gold digger,” “prostitute,” or “public restroom.” I support Crystal Fung for being herself and not wearing a mask in front of others!

What is Yutori’s intent?
A lot of people showed their support for Yutori and said there is nothing wrong with Crystal. Someone even busted on Lisa Ch’ng and her boyfriend, Mat Yeung (楊明) for blocking her after asking Lisa how she felt about her family’s recent issues with liquidating a publicly traded company in Malaysia. Another person also got blocked by Lisa for asking why she isn’t attacking the producer of the show or the one editing for not cutting the scenes with Crystal. She claims Lisa told her never to go on the internet and blocked her.
Someone else also discovered Yutori’s posts on Jacqueline Wong have been deleted from her Instagram. Yutori has not responded on the deleted posts, but one does have to wonder why she is responding on the “public restroom” debate a week later? Especially since Crystal had already said she would reflect on her choice of words in the future and be cognizant of the setting in which they are used.
