TVB actress, Moon Lau (劉佩玥), was promoting new series, “Life on the Line” (跳躍生命線) recently.  She was recently in the news with rumored boyfriend, Adrian Chau (周志文), allegedly kissing on a floatie out at sea.  Moon Lau, who has never responded to this rumor, denies it saying, “I think it was the angle.  That really was me and Adrian.  I am not scared to respond.  I just want to handle it privately.  Talking about the incident, I am not that stupid.  I know there was a live stream.  Why would I do something like this?  No need to exaggerate the situation.”

When asked if she was referring to privately handling her relationship,  Moon says, “No, I am not talking about privately dating.  No need to use an entertainment lens to respond to this.  Being private doesn’t mean I am hiding something either.  A reporter directly asks Moon Lau if she is dating Adrian Chau, she says, “I can only say our relationship is friendly, we’re good friends.  People are always saying the male friends around me are like my “soldiers,” but they’re not.  They are my good friends.  Women and men being friends isn’t weird.”

Another reporter asks Moon Lau why she is privately dating, she responds, “No, not dating.  It’s that I don’t need to reveal to everyone about my relationships with the people around me.  I don’t want to always talk about these things every time I am working.  If I am really dating and it’s stable, then I would announce it.”  I am really serious about relationships.  I would tell my parents first before telling everyone else.  When asked if she has met the parents, Moon Lau says, “No, maybe after Lunar New Year, I will consider it.” 

Toby Chan Saying Too Much?

Good friend and 2010 Miss Hong Kong winner, Toby Chan (陳庭欣) recently subtly hinted that Moon Lau and Adrian Chau were dating.  After that interview, Moon Lau wrote a post titled “Hater Talk”, which seemed like it was hinting at her dissatisfaction against Toby Chan.  To this, she says, “Everyone is overthinking it.  I did notice her response.  If the rumors were true, I would tell the reporter to ask the people involved.  My words were not against her, but there are a lot of people that like to gossip.  I was only defending myself.  When asked if Toby Chan said too much, Moon Lau says, “Everyone has a right to say what they want.  I respect that.  We are also good friends.”
