TVB actress, Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯) was at a function today and expressed she would probably be spending Christmas alone this year.  She also jokes that she is very single.  On recent reports that she was getting cozy with Elaine Yiu’s (姚子羚) ex-boyfriend, Bong Cheng (鄭子邦), Roxanne Tong says, “He’s not pursuing me.  The news report from last time wasn’t true.  I think it’s weird this was even reported.”

Reporters mentioned the clip of her getting cozy with Bong Cheng and even putting his hand on her thigh.  Roxanne Tong explains, “That day, it was a friend’s birthday dinner.  Afterwards, we went to Jacqueline Ch’ng’s (莊思敏) bar to hang for a bit.  It was a whole bunch of us, Lisa Ch’ng (莊思明), Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), and others.  He absolutely didn’t have his hand on my thigh.  It was the angle of the picture that made it seem like we were close to each other.  Because the place is small, so everyone was standing really close together.  It seemed like we were stuck to each other, but we weren’t.  I didn’t feel him glued to me.”

After the reports came out with the pictures and clips, Roxanne Tong expressed she wasn’t happy and didn’t like the way the media wrote about her.  When asked if she would felt embarrassed about the news reports, she said, “No, we’re friends and those reports aren’t true.  So I don’t feel embarrassed, but I was unhappy about the way I was written in the news because I’m still a girl.  The news isn’t true and I am single.  I don’t have a boyfriend.”

When asked if there would be any sparks between her and Bong Cheng, Roxanne Tong immediately replies, “No, I am focused on work right now.  I don’t have any suitors.  We’ve only seen each other a few times in a group setting.  We’re not that close.”
