Mark Ma (馬貫東) and Jan Tse (謝芷倫) received much love from fans for their portrayal of the “Professor and Mandy” couple in “Come Home Love – Lo and Behold” (愛．回家之開心速遞). Unfortunately, Jan Tse was temporarily written out for three months starting from October of last year. Her character is serving a three month jail sentence after “Jenny” puts an orange in her purse while going through customs. As a result, the love story between “Professor” and “Mandy” has been put to a halt.
While their storyline has been on hold in “Come Home Love,” Mark Ma is actually busy filming new series, “To All I’ve Loved Before” (致所有愛過的人), starring Frankie Lam (林文龍) and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如). In the series, he has a love line with Shiga Lin (連詩雅). Mark Ma plays a doctor with Asperger’s and is oblivious to the social cues with male and female relationships. He is nice to each girl not knowing that they have feelings for him, which prompts Shiga Lin to tell him not to be so nice to everyone.
Shiga Lin shared it was a bit awkward at first as she had to film romantic scenes with Mark Ma only knowing each other for less than three weeks. After getting to know each other a little better, they are starting to have some chemistry. As for kiss scenes, Mark Ma says we’ll have to wait until the series airs to find out. Jan Tse is also in the new series, but Mark Ma says he still hasn’t filmed any scenes with her yet. He doesn’t know if there will be scenes with Jan Tse in the later episodes either.
