After “Idol Producer 2” (青春有你) and “All For One” (以團之名), Tencent has announced season 2 of the Chinese version of “Produce 101” (创造101), a trainee survival reality show. The first season was focused on producing a female idol group, which eventually debuted as “Rocket Girls 101.” However, the second season will now be a male idol group survival reality show. The Chinese name for season 2 has also changed from “創造101” to “創造營2019,” which roughly translates to “Produce Camp 2019.” No word on whether the English name will stay the same.
