It’s no reason why Kenny Kwan (關智斌) wasn’t too upset about having the Boy’z concert canceled. EEG Entertainment, announced they have successfully registered for Kenny Kwan to have a solo concert at the Hong Kong coliseum in September. EEG made the announcement today and said fellow EEG artists such as Joey Yung (容祖兒), Leo Ku (古巨基), Hins CHeung (張敬軒), and Twins all support Kenny Kwan’s solo concert. When Steven Cheung’s (張致恒) cheating scandal was exposed, their Boy’z concert, originally scheduled for September, was canceled. Kenny Kwan said he wasn’t mad at him and even consoled himself saying that perhaps God had something better planned for him. In this case, it was a solo concert.

Kenny Kwan responded to Oriental Daily News today saying, “I am really happy, really happy, because I am very thankful for everyone’s support, especially the media, my brothers and sisters from the company. They all helped cheer me up in the past week. Next is thanks to a lot of my industry friends who sent me messages, all the fans , because of your non-stop support, which led to the Hong Kong coliseum allowing me to have this concert. I’ve never thought about having my dreams come true. Now that it’s happening, I am very grateful. But the most important thing is to use this time and focus on the concert so that we don’t waste everyone’s support for me. I will definitely demonstrate 200% of my efforts to give everyone a good show, to tell everyone I am worth going on this stage. Thank you everyone.”
