Hong Kong model turned actress, Chrissie Chau (周秀娜), has been single for quite a few years now. Even though she has many suitors, she has always said she is single and available. She was once rumored to be dating an already married film producer, Charlie Wong (黃永峰), but they neither party admitted to the rumors. Her love life being a constant talking point among Hong Kong media, was recently the center of attention when Next Magazine reported she and TVB actor, Dickson Yu (余德丞), were dating.

According to Next Magazine, they have been dating for three months already. They were even caught watching a movie together. The two were said to be cautious of paparazzi and tried to maintain a low profile. After they got into the car, they returned to the same neighborhood. It turns out, the two became neighbors last year when Dickson Yu first moved into the Tai Hang neighborhood with Chrissie Chau following suit. Chrissie Chau and Dickson Yu were also present at one of Joey Yung’s concerts, but they had a friend sitting in between them.
Chrissie Chau is 34 this year and in her 13 years in the business, she has only ever had one publicized relationship and it was with a hairstylist, Avis. She has always maintained being single ever since the break up. However, she has been rumored with Alex Fong( 方力申), Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀), and even Show Luo (羅志祥). It was rumored when film producer, Charlie Wong, tried to chase after Chrissie Chau, he gave her the female leads in two movies, “Beach Spike” (熱浪球愛戰) and “Kick Ass Girls 3” (爆3俏嬌娃).
As for Dickson Yu, the 29 year old has been rumored with Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Louisa Mak (麥明詩), Kaman Kong (江嘉敏), and a lot of other TVB starlets. Last year, when he fainted and ended up in the ICU, Sisley Choi was the first one who rushed to visit him in the hospital. However, the two has always maintained they are just friends.
When hk01.com reached out to Dickson Yu about dating Chrissie Chau, he said, “No, we are just good friends. No need to congratulate me.” (Are there chances to develop further with Chrissie?) “Never thought about this before”. (Do you mind dating older women?) “Never thought this either”. On whether who he is closer with, Chrissie Chau or Sisley Choi, he said, “There is no comparison”.
