Angelababy was the guest in the first episode of the variety show, “My Better Me” (变身总动员). It’s no surprise that she is often the target of criticism stemming from plastic surgery rumors, diva behavior rumors, divorce rumors with Huang Xiaoming (黄晓明), and others. One of the hosts, Liu Wei (刘维), was curious and asked her, “So many of these annoying people online are always saying nonsense. When you encounter such unhappy words, would you really get mad? Angelababy responds, “Actually, I did get mad in the beginning.”, and then eats a piece of candy.

I don’t really follow Chinese fandoms or celebs, but I honestly don’t get the major hate that a lot of Chinese (and other country) netizens have for this woman. Is she an amazing actress? No, but there are a lot of actresses that are just as bad as she is, if not worse. And, I actually think she has improved a bit in the last couple of years. Does she have diva behavior? I have no luck. But, I’m sure there are several Chinese actresses and actors who have diva behavior. Has she had work done of her face? Yeah. So, have others. So, why all this hatred toward this woman?
People need to stop and think – words and actions can lead to things. Two Korean actresses/idol singers have killed themselves in the past couple of months. Suicides among Asian stars is very high. Why? Because nameless “anti-fans” are always finding reasons to hate them.Leave them alone, grow up, and move on.
The only way to beat the nonsense gossip about her is by being the best actress who master her acting skills to shut them up. So far, her acting is not that great like her beauty.
