The cast of “Big White Duel 2” (白色強人II) attended a press conference on October 29. Two new cast members, Nancy Wu and Moses Chan, are joining the series. Both of them will also get involved in love triangles with the existing couples. Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Nancy Wu (胡定欣) are reuniting again after 2017’s “Deep in the Realm of Conscience” (宮心計2深宮計).

As Nancy Wu will be coming in between Kenneth Ma and Natalie Tong’s relationship in the sequel, she expressed, “There isn’t just romance between two people. When it comes to love, there will be a mysterious feeling to it. I kind of like it. In the first series, Kenneth Ma and Natalie Tong’s (唐詩詠) relationship is already very stable. I also said to the producer to please not write about me breaking them up. I don’t want to be the bad person. Anyway, I won’t do anything wrong to the fans. I won’t reveal too much of the storyline.” Kenneth Ma says the storyline will explain the issues between his relationship with Natalie Tong.”

When asked if there will be intimate scenes with Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu said, “Definitely won’t be any. I read the script and there aren’t much intimate scenes.” On whether it will be awkward working with Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu said, “No, we’re all friends. We will continue to work together.”

Natalie Tong also said, “We still have a conflict that we haven’t resolved. Tsang-jeh (Catherine Tsang) and Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) saw the script and said it was very sad. I haven’t read it yet and don’t dare to read it. It’s still the man’s fault.” As for Ali Lee’s absence from this series, Natalie Tong said the series will explain what happened to her.

Nancy Wu plays “Dr. Yip”, an oncologist. She will be going against Roger Kwok and trying to get rid of the work he did with the hospital and healthcare reform from the first series.
