Congratulations are in order for Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) and her husband, Philip Lee, as they announced they were pregnant with their third child on Instagram. Myolie Wu shared this picture on Christmas morning and said, “I come from a family with two older sisters. Since young, I’ve experienced the benefits of three sisters. I’ve always thought if having three children would be an especially wonderful and fortunate thing. I want to tell everyone on Christmas 2020, my wish came true.”

He also expressed, “You refused to let anyone know about the pregnancy during your latest performances in case it would give you privileges over others. You just carried on with your work as normal so that it was all about your real ability. You are an inspiration to all women who embody all good things about female success at home and at work at the same time. I think you have shown that you do not always have to compromise one for the other. Proud of you.”

Myolie Wu was recently crowned the champion of the second season of variety show, “Everybody Stand By 2”. She spent a few months in China with her second son, Ryan (b. 2019), while competing on the show. She and Philip Lee also have a 3 year old son, Brendan.

Myolie Wu told the media she had always wanted three kids. She said this pregnancy was considered planned and doesn’t matter if it’s a girl or a boy. She is set to give birth in the beginning or middle of the year. As she has experience, Myolie Wu said she hasn’t felt much discomfort. She didn’t want to reveal her pregnancy to staff members as she didn’t want to get special treatment on the show. No one discovered it in the beginning as she wasn’t showing in the early trimester.
