Louis Koo and Jessica Hsuan Celebrate End of Filming with Champagne

Long time on-screen couple Louis Koo (古天樂) and Jessica Hsuan (宣萱) finally reunited on the silver screen in director Derek Yee’s new film, “A Witness Out of The Blue” (犯罪現場).  The last time the two worked together was in 2001’s “Step into the Past.”  Jessica was initially worried about the chemistry with Louis as they haven’t worked with each other for so long.  After the first few days, those worries were gone.  Jessica praised Louis for his professionalism and that he was still the same old “古仔”, Louis’ nickname.

After shooting for 3 months, the crew wrapped up filming today.  Derek Yee started the celebrations with champagne.  Jessica joined in the fun and had a bit of champagne before she proceeded to film her last scenes.  All was good until Louis gave her another more than half a cup of champagne and insisted on bottoms up!  Jessica was starting to feel the effects of the champagne.  She couldn’t focus and her vision was also getting blurry.  However, this proved to help with the scene as Jessica’s character has problems with her vision in the film.  Director Yee joked that they should’ve had everyone buzzed before filming to get the same results.
