Rising TVB starlet, Kaman Kong (江嘉敏), has been heavily favored and promoted by TVB even though she has only been with the company for two years.  She has already starred as one of the female leads in TVB’s anniversary series, “Fist Fight” (兄弟).  However, during filming of the series, she was once rumored to be the third party in her co-star, Vincent Wong’s (王浩信) marriage.  Because of this,  Kaman Kong ignored him for two days to avoid misunderstandings.

As this was her first time being the female lead of the series, she was nervous.  Because of the rumors, she was really stressed.  Kaman Kong says, “I don’t have much acting experience and this was my first time being rumored.  I really didn’t know how to handle it.  When we were filming in England, it was a bit awkward.  I was afraid if we were rehearsing our lines together, someone will continue the rumors.  I ignored him for two days.  However, the producer and Tiffany Lau (劉穎鏇) said I can’t let the rumors affect my performance because it’s unprofessional.  As a good friend, she grabbed my hand and went over to Vincent to break the ice.”

Kaman Wong and Vincent Wong play a couple in the series.  There was a scene where she fainted and Vincent Wong had to carry her princess style.  This was the first man who was able to lift her up in one shot.  When asked if she would report intimate scenes to her boyfriend, Kaman Kong says, “I did tell him.  I asked him if he is okay with these type of scenes.  He said this is my work so he understands and supports me.

As for awards, Kaman Kong hopes this role will bring her career to new horizons.  She hopes that the audience will come to recognize her in two years.  Kaman Kong also hopes to win an award in two years time.  She also says, “I want to play a mute because everyone is always saying I talk too much, very noisy.  I want them to know I can be very quiet too.  Also, if I don’t talk, I can work on my double chin.  Everyone is always saying I’m fat.”
