In this storyline, “Jenny” and her husband, “Max”, played by Hoffman Cheng (鄭世豪), overcome their differences, but “Jenny” ultimately decides to leave for the US to relieve herself of physical and mental fatigue. Before she left, she sent a message to “David”, played by Angela Tong (湯盈盈), saying, “With this time’s departure, I don’t know when I am coming back. I, Jenny Lui, am a wild horse roaming on the grassland. I am not a domesticated bird. I can’t be domesticated by someone. Before I discover my true self, I will not return.” As it turns out, the storyline was set to accommodate Vicky Chan’s temporary departure from the series.

She had recently competed in the “World Championship of Performing Arts” (WCOPA). She received gold awards for drama and modeling, silver awards for harp, singing, solo piano performance, and the gold award for “The Next Worldstar.” Because of her achievements, Vicky Chan is flying to Los Angeles in the middle of July to compete in the finals, representing the China-Hong Kong-Macau region. The competition lasts from July 12 – July 21. The champion wins the chance to appear in a Hollywood television show. Vicky Chan ultimately chose to temporarily leave the series for the competition, but her return date is unknown.
