The series talks about the couple going from accidental roommates to lovers and eventually getting married. In an interview with ETtoday.net, Xing Fei reveals she is actually very similar to her character, “Situ Mo” (司徒末). She says, “My views on love is very similar to ‘Situ Mo’s’. Aside from having kids early, two people must respect each other. You must give each other enough space.”

Because of the chemistry between Xing Fei and Lin Yi, it has made the “WeiWei” CP very popular, especially with heir height difference. However, Xing Fei says she and Lin Yi are like brothers in real life and graded their chemistry with 85 points. The series got so popular, Xing Fei and Lin Yi were invited to Thailand for a fan meeting. The couple also guested on this week’s episode of “Happy Camp.” During one of the segments, the “WeiWei” couple attempted to sing “Those Years” (那些年) by Hu Xia (胡夏), but Lin Yi started singing off-key. He tries to give it another go, but fails again and eventually gives up. Xing Fei attempts to give it a go, but she also sings off key. Many fans left comments saying the two are such good partners even singing off-key.
