Even though TFBOYS’ Roy Wang Yuan (王源) is only 19 years old this year, he has already experienced a lot since he debuted at a young age. Even though he is studying in Boston at Berklee College of Music right now, he is still active in the industry. Roy Wang Yuan’s interview on show “Feng’s Talk”, which was filmed before he left for college was revealed today. On the show, he revealed his mother had actually tried to set him up on a blind date and his thoughts about dating as an idol.
In the interview, Roy Wang Yuan revealed he was eating dinner with his mother one day. She had wrapped dumplings for him and was especially formal. She told him, “Son, I recently have a friend’s daughter…something something…I asked, ‘what do you mean?’ She said, ‘Do you want to get to know to her?’ I told her I’ve never met her before. Why do I have to know her? I was very surprised, you know? I told her I’m only 18 years old. Stop joking around. Then after that, she never mentioned this again.”

Roy Wang also shared his thoughts about dating as an idol. He expressed, “As an idol in this industry, fans probably don’t wish to see you date. They might get jealous.
