He will officially assume his position in January 2020.

When asked about his new salary, Frankie Lam expressed, “Don’t prioritize money so high up. Chairman Lai (Jessy Lai) is understanding of all her employees. So she won’t be harsh to her employees, including me.” On whether his new salary will cover the previous jobs he had to turn down, Frankie Lam expressed, “You guys are worried about my lifestyle. If I have any issues with my lifestyle, I will share it with everyone.”
