Jeannie Chan (陳瀅) vented her anger on Instagram yesterday when she posted an IG story saying, “Secretly taking pictures of me not wearing clothes, won’t admit it and wouldn’t delete the picture afterwards!!!! You are not a woman, you wouldn’t understand. What’s wrong with you? You should be ashamed of yourself.”
Jeannie Chan attended a promotional event for her new series, “Of Greed And Ants” (黃金有罪) on January 6 and spoke to hk01.com about the incident. She recounted a scene she was filming recently where she was only wrapped in a towel. She said, “In that situation, there was a person who shouldn’t have been there taking pictures and took pictures. Afterwards, we went over to him and politely said, ‘Jeannie Chan is not wearing clothes right now, she’s only wrapped in a towel. It’s not that good. Why don’t you delete the picture?’ However, this person was very stubborn and wouldn’t delete the pictures.”
This incident led to Jeannie Chan blasting that male on Instagram. She continued saying, “Maybe only women would understand this. That feeling is almost like being violated because you didn’t get my permission to take pictures of me in this environment where I’m not wearing clothes. After a lot of back and forth, he finally agreed to delete it. I was so mad and didn’t understand why he wouldn’t delete it.” When asked whether the man was part of the crew, Jeannie Chan explained he wasn’t part of this crew, but wasn’t considered a regular person either.
