After getting married and having children, Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) heavily reduced her work load. Since leaving TVB in 2017, she hasn’t filmed any new series. Her last series was 2018’s “Another Era”, which she had a smaller role and filmed her scenes in Vancouver. So it was great news when it was announced Linda Chung was returning to TVB to film a new series called “Children’s Hospital” (lit. 兒童醫院) with Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Kenneth Ma (馬國明).

Linda Chung was seen at the TVB studios on July 6 for a private costume fitting for the new series upon completing her 14 day quarantine. Not much is known about the series as Linda Chung revealed the crew requested confidentiality and for everyone to keep a low profile. It’s reported Linda Chung will play a pediatrician and will have a romantic storyline with Kevin Cheng and Kenneth Ma. When asked if her kids will feel miserable that she will be gone filming for a few months, Linda Chung said, “It’s not miserable. They are so happy about it.”

Him Law (羅仲謙) and Bowie Cheung (張寶兒) are also part of the cast. Bowie Cheung plays an anesthesiologist and will play a couple with Him Law. There were rumors Ali Lee (李佳芯) was originally cast in the series. As this series is most likely partnering with a Chinese company, TVB is said to have replaced her with Bowie Cheung due to Ali Lee being “frozen” for her scandal last year.
