In the series, Myolie Wu and Chu Pak Hong (朱栢康) portray a married couple where she is the breadwinner and he stays at home. Their relationship seems fine on the surface, but behind doors there are a lot of issues brewing.

Myolie Wu revealed, “He would be unhappy, but I am very thankful to him for understanding. It was an obstacle during those years. It’s so hard to find your other half. I was afraid of scaring him off. You need a very strong partner with strong beliefs.” On how she consoled him, she said, “There is no way to console. When asked if they’ve ever experienced a third party coming into their relationship, Myolie Wu said, “If I said no, then I’d be lying. Every person from when they’re young to now will have these experiences. But these experiences were painful to the heart and body. So it wouldn’t happen now. It happened when I was young. Right now I have no energy. Taking care of my kids is already very hard.”

  1. Unfortunately her husband (Phil Lee), had always been on the look out for a lady to live off from. He likes to portray that he’s a businessman, however, he’s just an average recruiter. Even needed Myolie to put up the cash for him to start his own ‘business’……..the c*cktail lounge in Central, Hong Kong.
    A grass roots guy, from a very low class family (father was just a bar tender), now he can live off the earnings from a successful actress, whats their to be unhappy wirh?
