The highly anticipated series, “Forensic Heroes IV” (法證先鋒IV) had a press conference yesterday to promote the reshooting process due to the “OnSum Cheating” scandal. While Jacqueline Wong’s scenes are being shot with her replacement, Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯), producer, Miu Siu Ching (梅小青), expressed, “We immediately edited the script because different actors will have different portrayals. Also, there might be some scenes we can’t capture anymore. There are some scenes where we can do better as well.”

The series was originally promoted as one of this year’s TVB anniversary series, but has been postponed because of the reshoots. Miu Siu Ching shared, “We were originally classified as an anniversary series, but we need to have it approved by the Chinese film administration. We are filming in June/July and need to allow time for editing, so on principle, the series won’t be airing this year. Mr. To hopes the series will air early next year.”

Roxanne Tong also shared with the press that she had already alerted Jacqueline Wong beforehand. She said, “I sent her a text previously so she has a heads up. I don’t want to comment too much about this. She needs some privacy too, so I don’t have much to comment on this.”

Raymond Wong also cleared the air about the earlier rumors about him cursing and getting mad after finding out about the reshoots. He explained, “This time is the real response. I didn’t purposely respond previously because the involved parties were already affected. It’s not convenient for me to say too much. My family and I also went on vacation. When I found out about the news, what I was most worried about was not myself, but the actual “Forensic Heroes” team, worried about whether the series will air or not.”

When asked if he had cursed, Raymond Wong responded, “Why would I curse? To who? With the bathroom? I was really worried. At the time, I did send a text to Sister Siu Ching (Miu Siu Ching) asking her if I could help.” (Are you mad at Jacqueline?) “There is nothing to be mad at. We are not in contact.” (Not mad or can’t be mad?) “We are not mad. We are outsiders, won’t respond on it. What I am most worried about is whether the series will be able to air or not. It’s not suitable for me to comment. We are friends so it’s definitely not suitable to comment. It’s just a pity because everyone’s hard efforts are going to waste.”

  1. Even if they are mad they aren’t going to say so. Feel bad for those who have to reshoot. Are they going to get paid to reshoot?
