The Chinese television adaption, “A Little Thing Called First Love” (初恋那件小事), of Thai movie, “Crazy Thing Called Love”, airs on MangoTV today. The series, which stars Lai Kuanlin (賴冠霖), and Zhao Jinmai (赵今麦) in the titular characters, have been long anticipated due to the popularity of the original Thai movie. The story revolves around “ugly ducking”, “Xia Miaomiao” (夏淼淼), played by Zhao Jinmai. Upon a chance encounter, she starts having a crush on her popular and handsome senior classmate, “Liang Younian” (梁又年). She eventually transforms from an ugly duckling to a swan and starts a relationship with him.

Co-star, Wang Bowen (王博文), said this about Lai Kuanlin, “He’s a Libra, gentle, no airs. Pretty much no flaws.”
