Kenneth Ma’s (馬國明) luck is continuing after getting the Best Actor award for his role in “Big White Duel” (白色強人) at the 2019 TVB Anniversary awards. Following the success of the series at the awards show, Kenneth Ma treated the cast and crew to a celebration dinner on January 22. TVB executive, Catherine Tsang, known as Tsang Jeh, took the opportunity to announce they will be filming “Big White Duel 2” (白色強人2) soon.

Kenneth Ma revealed, “I am treating tonight. Since there aren’t that many people, so I am treating first. For the bigger ones, leave that up to Roger Kwok (郭晉安). Filming was so exhausting for everyone, we should show our appreciation. Tsang Jeh also announced there would be a sequel. Really happy about it.” When asked if it would be the original cast, Kenneth Ma said, “It should be the original cast and addition of new characters. The story will continue from where we left off.” Kenneth Ma surmises the sequel will start filming at the end of the year.

Ali Lee was semi frozen last year for social media comments that were deemed to be in support of the Hong Kong protests. She was asked if she was already “unfrozen” by the company. She revealed she has a lot of big projects this year and wants to further her studies. As for filming new dramas, she expressed she will have to wait for the company to arrange those plans. She adds that she has been resting during the time she hasn’t been filming.
