The new ViuTV series is called, “Iron Ladies” ( 熟女強人), which is a literal translation of the series name. The producer of the series said the stories will focus on 7 women from different backgrounds. It will cover topics ranging from freezing eggs, legal custody battles, homosexuality, sex addition, wife swaps, absentee dads, and returning to being single.

Myolie Wu plays a sex therapist in the series. Her character goes through a legal custody battle with her ex-husband for their son. She is joined by Carrie Ng (吳家麗), Sharon Luk (陸詩韻), Jess Sum (沈卓盈), Jeana Ho (何佩瑜), Karena Ng (吳千語), and Theresa Fu (傅穎). Karena Ng plays a bisexual character in the series, which is said to be a first in Hong Kong series.
