Bosco Wong (黃宗澤) and Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) worked together for the first time in the currently airing series, “Flying Tiger II” (飛虎之雷霆極戰). However, the two became friends really quickly after filming the series. Bosco Wong expressed, “She grew up overseas, so her personality is very chill. We went to England to film, ate together after work, drank, shopped, and became friends like that. Kelly Cheung added, “I didn’t have much scenes over there. I would wait for him everyday to get off work and go eat and shop. We actually knew each other before, it’s just that we weren’t close. Also, I’ve watched all his series since I was young.” Bosco Wong responded, “She dissed me, said when I was in elementary school, she was still a baby.”
Kelly Cheung revealed she was very tomboyish in school. She liked to play video games and play in a band. No one pursued her until the end of the semester, she mustered up the courage to ask the hottest guy in school to a dance. In the end, they remained friends until this day. As for Bosco Wong he said he was, “fat like a pig”. He lost weight in the last two years when he joined the swim team.
With Kelly Cheung “threatening”him, Bosco Wong admitted she is the goddess in his mind. He expressed, “If picking a girlfriend, she must be chill. Can’t be fussing over small matters or be petty. Real talk, her personality is very good. She even has a bit of “mix” flavor to her. Of course she is the goddess in my mind. But she has a boyfriend. I told her to introduce friends to me, but she hasn’t introduced one to me.” Kelly Cheung responded, “His standards are high. Let me slowly take a look.”
As Kelly Cheung loves to play video games, Bosco Wong revealed when he was in the hospital with his leg injury, she brought a video console for him to relieve boredom. However, it turns out Bosco Wong doesn’t like playing video games. He joked that this is the reason why him and Kelly Cheung didn’t hit it off. Kelly Cheung is in a long term relationship with her English-Japanese mixed boyfriend, Brunyez, who is also an avid gamer. When asked about marriage plans, Kelly Cheung said, “I used to wish to get married in my 20s, have kids, but right now I am 30 years old and actually feel marriage is too far away. I am very happy right now. Both of us are not in a rush to get married.” Bosco Wong said his friends are rushing him to get married, but explained, “Maybe because I grew up in a single parent household, so I’ve never had the image of a perfect family. My mom didn’t rush me either. I don’t really care.”
