In the history of Chinese limited groups that resulted from survival shows, there have been two groups that have already disbanded, NINE PERCENT on October 6, 2019, and Rocket Girls 101 on June 23, 2020. These two groups were the first ones to debut in 2018 in the first year China did survival shows. Even though Rocket Girls 101 disbanded on June 23, they were still competing on Tencent’s “We Are Blazing” under the pseudonym: Rocket Girls 101: Rule Breaking Girls. The group even made it to the finale, which seemed to shock some of the members.

While it seemed like “We Are Blazing” would be the last time in a long while before we see any interactions between Rocket Girls 101 members, fans were gifted with pictures of Wu Xuanyi (吴宣仪) and Yang Chaoyue (杨超越) hanging together recently. As it turns out, the two members are filming for Dragon TV’s variety show, “Wonderful Holiday” (完美的夏天), in Sanya, Hainan.

Hurry up and come.” She also uploaded the clip to the “Rule Breaking Girls” group chat. She included the caption, “After disbanding, Wu jie and I are going on a company expensed holiday first. Hainan’s skies are really blue.”
