Quarrels and slight arguments are bound to happen when traveling with a group. In the latest episode of “Viva La Romance” (妻子的浪漫旅行), Cherrie Ying (應采兒) and Cheng Lisha (程莉莎) got into an argument about ripping up the receipts they accumulated for the day. Cheng Lisha has a habit of ripping up all receipts, whereas Cherrie Ying will collect all the receipts for accounting purposes, then dispose of it. Cherrie Ying feels ripping up credit cards is understandable as it contains personal information, but cash receipts don’t need to be ripped immediately as its needed for tallying up the expenses. Cheng Lisha jokingly says, “What if my fingerprints are on the receipts?”

Cherrie Ying explains she follows her usual habit of saving all the receipts so that it helps the others to properly calculate the spending. Just when the other members were starting to calculate their expenses, they couldn’t remember how much was spent. However, Cheng Lisha had already ripped up all the receipts, so there were no records to fall back on. She thought it wasn’t a big deal and says, “I am used to ripping up all the receipts.” Cherrie Ying responds, “Ok, rip up your money then.”
Cheng Lisha continues to explains that if everyone trusts each other, missing receipts is not a big deal for calculating the expenses. She doesn’t understand why Cherrie Ying has such a big reaction over this. Cherrie Ying says, “It’s not about trust. It’s about proving how much was spent. I can’t remember how much was spent.”

Xie Na (谢娜), who is stuck between the two, tries to diffuse the awkward situation. Wei Daxun (魏大勋) and Ying Er (颖儿) are remaining silent at this point. She says, “There won’t be ripping next time.” and continues to say that everyone is probably tired that’s why tensions are high. Xie Na proceeds to say, “Okay, it’s now my turn to act.” Then Wei Daxun all of a sudden comes to life and throws something at Xie Na saying, “Hurry up and act! Waited so long for you that I’m irritated.”

Xie Na proceeds to impersonate Jasper’s famous line “Do you want a piece of chocolate?” Then Wei Daxun says, “Don’t be angry anymore, okay?” all in Chinese, because he doesn’t remember how to say “angry” in English. Then Xie Na and Cherrie Ying repeat Jasper’s line from “Where Are We Going, Dad?” (爸爸去哪儿) from Season 5, “Can you stop angry now?”, which Wei Daxun repeats out loud, but doesn’t trigger a reaction from either of them. It wasn’t until the two jokesters proceed to act out a scene from “A Chinese Ghost Story” (倩女幽魂), did the tension decrease a bit.
