Chinese Remake of Full House Has Started Filming with Yang Chaoyue and Timmy Xu Weizhou

Back in February, it was rumored Dylan Wang (王鹤棣), from the 2018 version of “Meteor Garden” (流星花园), and Rocket Girls 101’s, Yang Chaoyue (杨超越), would be starring in the Chinese remake of the popular Korean series, “Full House.” When the remake was first announced, there was a lot of opposition to the casting of Yang Chaoyue as Song Hye Kyo’s role. However, there was no follow up to the casting news until recently, when pictures were leaked, showing the cast had already begun filming.

The male lead is now confirmed to be Timmy Xu Weizhou (许魏洲), who rose to fame from the web series, “Addicted” (上瘾). Aside from the change in the male lead, the Chinese name of the remake has been changed from “心動滿屋” to “仲夏滿天心”, with the English title being “Midsummer is Full of Hearts.”
