TVB’s long standing drama, “Come Home Love – Lo and Behold” (愛．回家之開心速遞) has been extended for the nth time. The series was extended to 720 episodes last year. This time around, it is being extended to 900 episodes. TVB had previously expressed they were trying to surpass the current record holder, “Kindred Spirit” (真情), for the longest running series on the network. A bunch of the cast members from the show were in attendance at a promotional event yesterday to celebrate the good news and the upcoming Mid-Autumn festival.
Iris Lam (林凱恩) and Hero Yuen Ching Fung (阮政峰) who play “Bonnie” and “Chi Zi Hao”, respectively, were recently rumored to be dating. When reporters asked if there were opportunities for them to develop further, Hero Yuen clarified the rumors when he revealed he actually had a non-industry girlfriend. He also said he was in a very happy and stable relationship and that he gained weight because he’s happy and there probably won’t be opportunities to date Iris Lam. He revealed, “Iris and I had some good relations previously, but that’s all in the past. Now we have more work opportunities.” Iris Lam said, “I’m not that lucky.”, while Hero Yuen responded back, “It’s me that can’t keep up with her.”
Reporters get curious at Hero Yuen’s “in the past” comment and tried to press further if it meant they had dated in the past. Hero Yuen doesn’t know how to respond, while Iris Lam explains, “He means this news was already in the past.” For some reason, Hero Yuen mentions how he had picked up Iris Lam from work last time which started the dating rumors. He explained, “This happened over a year ago. At that time, we were filming a show about desserts.” Iris Lam clarifies, “It was a free ride. He is a very good senior.”
Since he revealed he was taken already, Hero Yuen was asked if he had any available suitors to introduce to Iris Lam. He responded, “Kalok Chow (周嘉洛), Mark Ma (馬貫東), I only have them. What else do I have?” As for Iris Lam, she said she will leave it up to heaven’s plan and let nature take its course.
