Miss Hong Kong 2020 Contestant, Jessica Liu (廖慧儀), has been called the “wild Miss Hong Kong” by the media. She had a lot of negative press during the pageant. However, 10 days later, Jessica Liu has reportedly dumped Sam Cheung. He wrote a post in the early morning of October 11, saying, “I’ve experienced all kinds of sad things with you in the last year and a half. When you had your low and difficult moments, I’ve never left your side. Why are you doing this to repay me for all the sacrifices I made for you in the last year and a half? I’ve always treated you like family. Why did you choose to heartlessly leave me over such trivial problems? Is it because you joined the entertainment industry to broaden your horizons and now that you look back, you feel like I am nothing?”

Sam Cheung later deleted the post and privated his IG account. Jessica Liu has also deleted all the pictures of Sam Cheung. Oriental Daily News reached out to Sam Cheung on the breakup and he said, “No comment.”
