So it’s only right that he takes care of her forever, right?” Even so, a lot of us diehard LJ (Louis and Jessica) fans are still wishing for their happy ending.

totally disagree. Yes, Anne sacrificed her leg but Louis loved Jessica…breaking them up and forcing him to be with Anne bc of obligation would be sufferable for all 3 parties. Maybe the producer shouldn’t have had Anne’s character lose her leg? He broke up one of the best onscreen couples! Lol
I don’t know why he said Anne wasn’t pretty. I think he had one too many by that time and was just saying gibberish. LOL. I could’ve accepted that ending if they had a sequel to elaborate further.
Totally agree. Fei’s personality is much wiser than to marry someone out of pity and guilt – inconsistent character building. Got to give credit to Anne as well, she came out a stronger person because of her captivity – don’t think she wants to be with someone who is with her out of obligation. Thus, the continuation under http://www.aleiyawrite.com (Canon in DIF IV) Many readers prefer this new ending 🙂
