Chinese idol group, TFBoys, is celebrating their 6 year anniversary debut by having a concert in Shenzhen on August 10th. The trio consisting of Karry Wang Junkai (王俊凯), Roy Wang Yuan (王源), and Jackson Yi (易烊千玺), had already flew to Shenzhen on the 6th and 7th to prepare for the concert. However, there were rumors circulating that Super Junior member, Eunhyuk was also seen at the Shenzhen airport, seemingly to be working with TFBoys.
Netizens reported encountering Eunhyuk at the airport on Chinese Valentine’s Day. He was reportedly accompanied by a TFBoys staff member and airport staff. He was seen with a mouth mask on and when a fan shouted out “Eunhyuk Oppa”, he turned around and nodded his head. Eunhyuk posted on Weibo on August 6th saying, “Haven’t been to China in a long time.”, but didn’t reveal what he was doing there.
Even though his plans weren’t revealed there were bloggers on Weibo revealing, “Lee Hyuk Jae (Eunhyuk’s real name) went to Shenzhen to direct TFBoys.” Netizens suspect Eunhyuk is in Shenzhen to help TFBoys with their concert. Once these posts went viral, netizens started saying, “Shocking my whole family!”
It turns out a few months ago, there were rumors that TFBoys’ management company had plans to collaborate with SM Entertainment. However, the rumors eventually died down. The Korean concert production team, “DREAM MAKER ENTERTAINMENT”, which is a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, had originally listed “TFBoys Concert in Shenzhen on August 10th on the calendar on their IG account. However, they later re-uploaded the post without this listed. There’s no official confirmation as to what Eunhyuk’s involvement will be with TFBoys.
